Nvidia has unveiled plans to invest $2 billion in Nebius, an artificial intelligence (AI) cloud provider, as part of a collaboration to advance the development of hyperscale AI cloud infrastructure.
The partnership aims to create a new generation of AI-focused cloud systems, with Nvidia contributing its cutting-edge accelerated computing technology. According to Nvidia, the collaboration will focus on designing AI factories, supporting an AI stack for inference and agentic AI, and deploying multiple generations of Nvidia hardware across Nebius's platform. These include the Rubin GPUs, Vera CPUs, and Nvidia BlueField Storage system.
"AI is at another inflection point - agentic AI, driving incredible compute demand and accelerating infrastructure buildout", stated Jensen Huang, founder and CEO of Nvidia. "Nebius is building an AI cloud designed for the agentic era, fully integrated from silicon to software and powered by Nvidia's next-generation accelerated compute. Together, we are scaling the cloud to meet the surging global demand for intelligence."
Nebius, which was spun out of Yandex in 2024 and is now listed on the Nasdaq, has a strong history of deploying Nvidia's chips within its data centers. The company offers GPU-powered cloud services across regions such as the United States, the Middle East, and Europe. Uniquely designed as an AI-first platform, Nebius was created specifically to meet the needs of developers rather than being adapted from a general-purpose cloud.
"Nebius has been built for AI since day one - not adapted from a general-purpose cloud, but designed for what developers actually need", said Arkady Volozh, CEO of Nebius. "Now with Nvidia, we are extending that throughout the stack - from gigawatt-scale AI factories to inference and software - as we build one of the first and largest clouds for all AI builders everywhere."
The AI cloud provider has ambitious plans to deploy over 5 gigawatts of computing capacity by the end of 2030. This year, Nebius announced plans for several major data center projects, including a 240MW facility in France and two others in the United States - one in Alabama and another in Missouri, where it is planning an 800MW campus.

This $2 billion investment in Nebius is the latest in a series of significant financial commitments by Nvidia to bolster its partnerships with AI-focused companies. Earlier in 2026, Nvidia participated in Nscale's $2 billion Series C funding round, and in January, it invested another $2 billion in CoreWeave after a previous agreement to purchase $6.3 billion worth of unsold compute capacity from the company. Nvidia has also entered into a $1.5 billion agreement to lease back its GPUs from Lambda.
Through these investments, Nvidia continues to play a pivotal role in driving the rapid expansion of AI infrastructure, ensuring its technology remains at the forefront of the global AI revolution.
