Eastern International Enters Wind Power Construction Market

HANGZHOU, China – Eastern International Ltd. ("Eastern International" or the "Company") (NASDAQ: ELOG) has officially made its debut in the wind power construction sector after winning bids for two critical packages in the Hongze 62.5 MW Wind Farm Project. The company's wholly-owned subsidiary, Guizhou Tianrun Zhicheng Construction Engineering Co., Ltd. ("Guizhou Tianrun"), secured contracts totaling RMB 91.52 million (approximately USD 13.02 million). This milestone marks a significant step in Eastern International's expansion into new energy infrastructure.

A Strategic Milestone

The Hongze Wind Farm project signals Eastern International's entry into the wind power construction market, a move deemed strategic for the company's growth. The awarded contracts include two main components: roadworks, lifting platform construction, and land reclamation at a cost of RMB 79.52 million (approximately USD 11.31 million), and substation civil construction works for the EPC turnkey project priced at RMB 12 million (approximately USD 1.71 million).

Lin Tan, Chief Operating Officer of Eastern International, emphasized the importance of this achievement, describing it as a "crucial strategic move for the Company." He added, "These successful bids and the achievement of the first breakthrough in the wind power construction sector are crucial strategic move for the Company. Eastern International will adhere to the high standards for this 'first wind power construction project' and plan and manage the construction scientifically to ensure comprehensive control over project quality, safety, and schedule."
