Lake Energy said it has secured $80 million in financing to support the buildout of renewable energy infrastructure in the United States, with the funds aimed at solar, energy storage, and related power projects.
The company said the financing was led by investors with experience in energy infrastructure and clean energy. It plans to use the proceeds for project development, engineering and construction, equipment procurement, deployment of energy storage systems, and related supporting infrastructure.
Lake Energy said the U.S. is a key global energy market and linked its expansion plans to continued growth in electricity demand and ongoing upgrades to energy infrastructure. The company said it intends to deepen its long-term presence in the U.S. renewable energy sector.
