Belgian sustainable energy company Storm has raised €20 million from TINC and PMV as it seeks to expand beyond its core onshore wind and battery storage activities into a broader sustainable energy platform.
Listed infrastructure investor TINC and Flemish investment company PMV are each committing €10 million in the late-stage round. Both investors will take board seats.
The investment extends a partnership dating to 2011. TINC and PMV have co-invested in Belgian wind farms that own 63 turbines with a combined capacity of 206.4 MW, at a cost of about €390 million.
Storm’s development plans include an onshore wind pipeline of 624 MW in Belgium. The company also develops projects in Ireland.
The latest funding follows the investors’ backing in spring 2026 of Storm’s battery storage systems in Ruien and Langerlo. Together, the two parks have a capacity of 300 MW and storage of 1,200 MWh, with a realization cost of €330 million.
TINC will finance its €10 million commitment through an available €300 million revolving credit facility.
