The project manager has to sequence IMP envelope, underfloor glycol, and an ammonia or CO2 machine room whose 25-35% cost share makes refrigeration the real critical path; the superintendent has to protect a vapor barrier that one careless penetration can ruin; and commissioning agents have to pull a building down to -10F on a schedule without cracking the slab.
