APTIM wins $997M Navy fuel infrastructure contract

APTIM has been selected as one of 10 prime contractors on the U.S. Department of the Navy's $997 million Global Petroleum, Oils, and Lubricants (POL) Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Multiple Award Construction Contract (MACC), positioning the company to compete for work tied to fuel infrastructure projects at Navy and Marine Corps locations worldwide.

The contract is administered by the Naval Facilities Engineering and Expeditionary Warfare Center (NAVFAC EXWC) and covers mission-critical petroleum infrastructure. According to the company, the 5-year contract vehicle includes work both inside and outside the continental US, with performance scheduled through August 2031.

Under the agreement, APTIM will compete for task orders involving construction, maintenance, repair, inspection, testing, design, and engineering services. The scope includes pipelines, fuel storage tanks, and associated POL facilities and equipment.

APTIM said it brings more than 25 years of experience supporting the Navy through this POL contract vehicle and its predecessors. As a 5-time incumbent, the company said it has completed more than $2B in work and maintained more than 1,000 fuel storage tanks and systems.
