BNP Group has acquired U.S. Cost Incorporated from Schneider Electric S.E., adding cost management and project controls capabilities to its engineering and consulting platform as it broadens its reach beyond aviation and further into infrastructure markets including government, healthcare and education.

Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

The deal brings U.S. Cost’s construction estimating and project controls work into BNP’s existing aviation design, engineering and supply chain platform. According to the original announcement, the acquisition expands BNP’s ability to provide services across project planning, engineering, construction oversight and lifecycle cost management.

Founded in 1983 and based in Alpharetta, Georgia, U.S. Cost provides construction estimating, scheduling, value engineering, lifecycle cost analysis, risk assessment, program validation and change order analysis. The company works with owners and engineering teams through development and construction and serves clients that include airports, federal agencies, universities and municipal governments.

Its aviation clients include Dallas Fort Worth International Airport, Miami International Airport and San Diego International Airport. Federal customers include the Architect of the Capitol, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, the Naval Facilities Engineering Command and the General Services Administration. U.S. Cost also works with Georgetown University, the University of Mississippi, the Port of Seattle, the City of Miami and Fairfax County, Virginia.

BNP Chief Executive Officer Damien Breier said the acquisition strengthens the company’s support for infrastructure owners across the full project lifecycle. He said integrating U.S. Cost’s expertise would improve BNP’s precision in cost management and expand the services it can offer current and future clients.

U.S. Cost Chief Executive Officer Suzanne Moltzen said joining BNP would create opportunities to deepen customer relationships, pursue additional projects and offer a broader range of services while contributing to the platform’s growth.

Godspeed Capital Management LP, which backed BNP and launched it as its eighth platform investment in 2024, said the acquisition adds technical depth as well as established client relationships and specialized expertise. Partner James Reid said U.S. Cost’s background in complex, mission-critical infrastructure projects improves BNP’s ability to support customers through development and construction.

The transaction is BNP’s fourth acquisition. It follows the company’s 2025 purchases of Airport Gurus, Studdiford Technical Solutions LLC and Establish Inc. The original announcement said BNP has been pursuing a buy-and-build strategy to create a diversified engineering and consulting platform serving aviation, logistics and critical infrastructure markets.

BNP, headquartered in Fairfield, Connecticut, has served the aviation industry since 1971. The acquisition of U.S. Cost further expands its capabilities as demand continues for cost management, project controls and owner representation services tied to airport modernization and public infrastructure investment.
