Conti Federal wins $55.4 million Oregon Guard contract

Conti Federal Services has secured a $55.4 million firm-fixed-price contract from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Seattle District to build a new Special Tactics Complex for the Oregon Air National Guard’s 125th Special Tactics Squadron in Portland.

The project will create a centrally located campus designed to combine functions now spread across several older facilities. According to the company, the new complex is intended to bring operational, training, logistics, maintenance and support capabilities together in one location.

Conti Federal’s work on the project includes specialized spaces for training and simulation, as well as industrial areas for vehicle maintenance, logistics and storage. The contract also covers site development, utilities, parking and other supporting infrastructure.

Construction is expected to be completed in May 2029.

The award marks Conti Federal’s first Oregon Air National Guard assignment and expands the contractor’s military portfolio into a new customer relationship and geographic market.

The contract adds to Conti Federal’s military and mission-critical construction portfolio. Projects cited by the company include an aircraft complex at F.E. Warren Air Force Base, F-35A flight simulator and squadron operations facilities at Naval Air Station Joint Reserve Base Fort Worth, and a Special Operations Forces Special Tactics Operations Facility at Hurlburt Field.

Conti Federal traces its roots to 1906 and focuses on military and secure construction, critical infrastructure, environmental remediation and disaster response projects for the U.S. federal government.
