MEEZA QSTP LLC has awarded a construction contract worth more than QAR 500 million to Elegancia Contracting and Industries for a new data center, according to a company statement published on the Qatar Stock Exchange website on Thursday.
The contractor, Elegancia Contracting and Industries, is a subsidiary of Estithmar Holding QPSC. The announcement was reported from Doha on September 24 by QNA.

MEEZA said the new facility is part of its expansion pipeline and is intended to meet rising demand tied to cloud computing, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and digital transformation applications.
According to the company statement, the project will significantly expand Qatar’s capacity to host hyperscale cloud providers and high-density AI workloads. MEEZA said the facility will also reinforce its position as a regional digital infrastructure leader and strengthen Qatar Science and Technology Park’s role as a hub for technology and innovation.
For Estithmar Holding, the project expands the group’s participation in mission-critical infrastructure and strengthens its presence in what the source article described as one of the fastest-growing sectors of the global economy.
