Salute agrees to acquire T5 Operations

Salute said Sept. 1, 2026, that it has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire T5 Operations, part of T5 Data Centers' Services business, in a deal that would expand its reach in data center facility management, operations, and commissioning. The transaction remains subject to customary closing conditions and regulatory approvals.

The Austin, Texas-based company said the acquisition would add T5 Operations' expertise to Salute's existing services for AI/HPC and cloud data centers, including its Direct-to-Chip liquid cooling capabilities. Once completed, Salute said it would have more than 15+ GW of data center capacity under management across 150+ markets globally and a worldwide staff of 3800+ employees.

Salute described the deal as a move to increase its scale and depth as a dedicated service provider to the data center industry, serving hyperscalers, major operators, and companies building the next generation of AI/HPC and cloud infrastructure.

According to Salute, the larger organization would be better positioned to mobilize skilled teams, share operational best practices, support customers across geographies, and invest in people, processes, and technologies tied to digital infrastructure.

T5 Data Centers Chairman & CEO Pete Marin said the combination would build on the operations business established over the past 12 years. The transaction is also part of what the companies described as the next phase of T5 Services' evolution. Salute said that with the Operations team transitioning to Salute, T5 Construction is effective today becoming EverOn Data Center Services, an independent data center construction company focused exclusively on mission-critical digital infrastructure.
